About Us:
Phase Energy AS is a Norwegian limited company headquartered in Asker, Norway. In 2025, we acquired the complete inventory and manufacturing assets from the estate of Podbike AS following its bankruptcy, ensuring the continuation of the innovative micro-mobility concept that inspired thousands.
The first 20 vehicles from the acquired stock will be delivered under the Podbike name and are ready for immediate shipment. All buyers will receive, free of charge, an upgraded PCB compatible with the new TwoZero Classic software in Mid March 2026.
An additional batch of up to 160 vehicles will be produced under our own brand, TwoZero, as the TwoZero Classic Quad. These units will feature updated Motherboard, firmware and refined engineering, with assembly and deliveries scheduled to begin in March 2026.
Phase Energy AS will continue to support all Podbike and TwoZero vehicles with a full range of spare parts. Each vehicle is delivered with a 10,000 km or 2-year warranty, whichever comes first.f
Building on the foundation laid by Podbike, our engineering team is developing a completely new generation of personal and cargo micro-mobility vehicles. The lineup will include advanced pedal-assisted vehicles, inspired by the TwoZero Classic, as well as wider and faster fully electric models covering multiple vehicle categories.
Together, the upcoming TwoZero series will cover the full spectrum of the rapidly growing micro-mobility market. Mass production of the new generation is planned for the first half of 2027.
The TwoZero Story:
How a Vision Survived — and Became Stronger.
When the original Podbike company ceased operations after its bankruptcy, the industry lost more than a business — it lost one of the boldest ideas in modern micromobility. The Frikar concept had inspired thousands of people who believed in clean, efficient, all-weather cycling. But despite the engineering brilliance behind the vehicle, Podbike struggled with escalating costs, logistical bottlenecks, engineering bugs and a supply chain that could not scale.
The idea was sound.
The design was innovative.
The execution hit obstacles.
And eventually, the company could not continue.
But the dream did not end there.
A New Beginning:
TwoZero Steps In
Following the bankruptcy process, Phase Energy AS acquired the complete production assets and founded TwoZero — including the manufacturing equipment, fixtures, jigs, and specialized tools required to assemble the vehicle.
What TwoZero did not acquire was the Podbike company itself which does not exist anymore, nor the Podbike trademark or domain names.
This separation is important. As it is important to emphasize that TwoZero has a totally new team of dedicated people that not only is putting the former Podbike Frikar Model back on the market Under a new name, new electronics, software and bug fixes.
In Addition we are also designing an entire ecosystem of new Vehicles that is scheduled to go into production in 2027.
TwoZero represents a fresh organization, new leadership, new engineering principles, and a completely restructured business model, but one that honors what made the original Frikar so special.
The Reborn Vehicle:
Introducing the TwoZero Lineup for 2027.
New improved vehicles are entering a new era under the TwoZero name.
It retains everything people loved about the Frikar:
But it now arrives with:
Stronger components
Improved electronics and software
Higher production stability
Complete redesign of all weak points identified previously
The TwoZero Classic is not a revival
it is the evolution the original concept always deserved.
Why This Matters
For the thousands who believed in the original idea, the story no longer ends with a bankruptcy.
It continues with a capable, well-structured company that is fully prepared to deliver.
TwoZero isn’t here to repeat the past.
We are here to finish what was started, deliver the remaining 180 Classic units, and then launch the next generation of enclosed micromobility with the upcoming TwoZero Series shipping in 2027. But you will have a chance at securing one of the 180 limited edition Classics that will be the last of its kind to hit the roads.
A Vision Preserved — A Future Upgraded
By acquiring the production assets, fixing the systemic issues, and applying modern engineering discipline, TwoZero has transformed a stalled vision into a scalable, future-proof product.
The dream of a practical, all-weather e-bike didn’t die.
It simply needed a new team to carry it forward.
And that team is TwoZero.
